Community Updates

February 5, 2022 marks another successful transport day despite a looming winter storm! Over 20 animals made their way north, and we look forward to new home updates soon! A special shout-out to our new officers running the show for their first time, our volunteers, and donations of bed pads and dog food from John Iannuzzi.

Butters and Company excelled at their recent check-up. She proudly presents Pancake, Churro, Blueberry Muffin, Donut, and Bagel. Born during the first week of January, this little family will continue to grow in the care of Homeward Bound for a while longer!

The Hill’s Pet Nutrition annual 5k was a huge success with over 160 registrants. This one of a kind 5k held at the College of Veterinary Medicine and sponsored by Hill's Pet Nutrition invites participants and their best friends of all species to enjoy a friendly competition and fellowship. All proceeds from the race are donated to the Homeward Bound Project of MS to help out animals such as our floppy eared buddy, Diesel. Visit here for more information on this year’s race!

September’s Transport Day was a success with 28 dogs making the trip!
